A watercolor piece painted on Yupo paper. This is the picture of the Sunrise Beach down cliff at Moller Dr, Gig Harbor, Washington. This piece won an Ebb Tide Gallery award during the 2017 Peninsula Art Leagues Art Competition. Got it sold after short exhibit at Ebb Tide Gallery early on the following year.

Gertrudes G. Asplund is a resident of the charming city of Gig Harbor, Washington. She joined the Peninsula Art League to explore activity and improve talent by joining portrait drawing class, urban sketching group, plein air painting and exhibits.. Her favorite categories are water/landscape and people/figurative painting based on her own photographed sceneries and events. She use watercolor, her favorite medium, to depict detailed subject which she thinks viewers would love to see on her artwork.
