Artist's Description
I live in this beautiful maritime city of Gig Harbor. August is one of the busiest and most toured month in the summer where the "Summer Sound" events is held every Tuesday of the week. The place is called the Skansie Brother park situated at Harborview Drive, Gig Harbor, Washington. This piece was entered into Peninsula Art League Art Exhibit on 2014 at Gig Harbor Museum and sold during the show.

Gertrudes G. Asplund is a resident of the charming city of Gig Harbor, Washington. She joined the Peninsula Art League to explore activity and improve talent by joining portrait drawing class, urban sketching group, plein air painting and exhibits.. Her favorite categories are water/landscape and people/figurative painting based on her own photographed sceneries and events. She use watercolor, her favorite medium, to depict detailed subject which she thinks viewers would love to see on her artwork.
